Meet Your Guide
The Founder of Accidental Cajun Experiences
For 20 years I was a professional chef, cooking in kitchens from NYC to New Orleans. I also was a working journalist and photographer, contributing to digital and print publications across the country. But what I realized is that my true passion is the city of New Orleans. When I wasn’t at work I spent my time immersing myself in the culture of New Orleans. It was a culture I also eagerly shared with my family and my own son. And now I want to share it with your family.
My New Orleans is a deep, soulful place animated by its people, music, cuisine and traditions. This is the city I want you to see. Through uniquely curated experiences, you’ll see the city through the eyes of a passionate local, with the reverence and respect it deserves. Come join me, and let’s dig into the city. Culture. Cuisine. Community. Below sea level. Above ground.
Why choose us?
- Small group sizes for personalized attention.
- Everyone wants to go behind the scenes, but we actually do that. Meet the people who make the city tick.
- Commitment to sustainable and responsible tourism practices – we focus on small groups, and because we are mainly walking, make less of an impact on the environment.
- Giving back to New Orleans’ Culture – a portion of each tour goes to the Roots of Music, a program that teaches at risk youth the musical and marching band culture of New Orleans.
